Last week I drove up to Florence to shoot Alison and Thomas’s engagement session on Alison’s family’s property, and I wasn’t even thinking about the weather because it was nice and sunny on the drive up. But sure enough, we hadn’t been shooting for 10 minutes when we noticed the sky starting to look like doom and gloom, and next thing we knew, it was torrentially down-pouring. Luckily, these two are serious troopers, and we just grabbed some umbrellas and a quilt and made the best of it, and when it was all said and done, I think the rain added a lot of character to the whole shoot. Plus it was just fun.
Alison and Thomas met when they first began med school, and are still in the thick of it. (Best of luck on those exams, you guys!) Now on top of that, they’re planning their November wedding, which I couldn’t be more excited about shooting. So basically, next time I think I’m busy and stressed, I’m just going to remember how well they’re coping with everything on their plate right now! :)
Enjoy!
Serena - Oh my goodness, Morgan… these two are Darling! Gorgeous work, as always! <3
Amanda - Oh my, those first two shots look so “twilight”……love them!! I love the pictures with the umbrella and quilt. Who says it has to be a perfectly sunny day to get gorgeous pictures?
