welcome to the new blogsite!

Hello world! I’m so excited to finally unveil this new blog/website I’ve been working on for weeks now. I just got my fabulous logo design in and finished tinkering around with some details, and although there is still plenty of tinkering left to do, I couldn’t wait any longer to go live and start posting some of the projects I’ve been working on lately! Those of you who have followed my blogspot blog may be wondering why I haven’t posted anything since January. Well, I mainly have only laziness to blame. But I hope to turn over a new leaf with the launch of this website, because now it will be a place where I can share my images AND my thoughts all together. I wanted to have to a way to showcase my photography while staying true to “me,” and the truth is that I love words too much to let the images speak for themselves, so I figure this is the best of both worlds. So add me to your RSS feed, or bookmark my page, or however else you want to keep up with what I’m doing, because I promise you that I will keep this as fresh and updated as humanly possible. So here goes!

For my very first set of images, I can’t help but share a session I did with Carrie and Shane and lil baby Harper last Wednesday. I guess you could call these family portraits of sorts, to commemorate Harper’s first birthday. I love their funky taste in clothes and home decorating, and it was a dream to photograph such a good-looking family in such a cool, colorful house! Hope you guys like these. Oh my goodness, Harper. What will I do without these cheeks in Salt Lake City?!
